How I Pour My Soul into Software for Artists

Clint Watson / 2 Comments

Often, when I retire from my software studio for the evening, an intense exhaustion washes over me.

It's not a bad feeling:  it's the feeling of accomplishment.  However, I don't want to minimize the level of sheer exhaustion that I feel.  It's as if I've actually poured a piece of my soul into the computer screen and into the software that I've lovingly created.  It takes me by surprise, because, while I'm working, I'm in the zone, so I don't notice how tired I'm becoming.  That excitement must be due to the rush of experiencing The Maker's High.

Clint:
I blog weekly now since faso is in my life. It is a super fine biz you have created. I bought several pieces at Greenhouse when my son Tyson Weihs was at Trinity many years ago. I betcha you helped me with the Kim English, I remember your great face. Tyson is a software designer/biz CEO for pilots and weather, living in Houston now from S A. It is the APPLE app called www.foreflight.com.

I would like some advice. Since I wrote an art book and have students who read it often and subscribe to my newsletter, and am blogging every week, I'd like to know where to go from here to elevate the level of subscribers. Please check out my latest blog which I have not published as of yet, still tweaking it! The link is, https://data.fineartstudioonline.com/cfgeditblogdrafts.asp?action=editandKEY=34419andSTART=andORDER=

I do enter every month the bold brush since my entry into your program in the late spring. I show in 7 galleries and have been published in mags etc. I am totally willing and do learn more about faso from your fine artists tech gurus every week. It is so fascinating. Thank you!

That feeling is bliss few people know what it is. It happens a lot when your in the creative mode. The reason you didn't get tired while you where working is you where connecting with something bigger than yourself. Have you ever solved a problem of great importense and get a big rush of energy that last days. When you can't sleep but don't need the sleep. You feel excitement and wellbeing all at the same time. This happend to me once. And I loved it. That's what's on the other side of bliss. When your creating your connecting to a much larger universe.
